Jackie Luxenberg, CPA
Jackie brings nearly 15 years of Corporate America experience to the firm with her extensive background in the big business accounting world. Taking from her deep knowledge base in analytics and financial forecasting, planning, and implementation, Jackie provides invaluable real world experience at a personal level. Her unique perspective is backed by years in the trenches of large corporations where she has tackled everyday business pains at a large corporate scale. Now, she brings that experience and those toolsets to the small businesses and individuals that we serve. Jackie heads up the accounting side of the firm overseeing all bookkeeping, financial consulting, and offsite controller operations that we offer.
When not in the office, Jackie can be found spending her free time on the lake, the pickle ball courts, or relaxing with the kids at the pool in Rancho Mission Viejo, where she and her family reside.
Dave Luxenberg, EA
Dave brings a "client first' mentality and easy going presence to the firm. Licensed as an Enrolled Agent, Dave works in all tax aspects of the firm and prides himself on helping individuals and businesses alike to navigate the complicated tax laws that are ever changing. His educational approach to working with clients to help them understand their tax situation has garnered him adoration from those who work with him directly.
Dave currently resides in San Clemente with his wife and two children. When he is not in the office, he is likely watching a Green Bay Packers game or tuning in to see the score of the Anaheim Ducks Game. Dave also has an extensive background in kinesiology and enjoys a physically active lifestyle away from the office.
Sam Luxenberg, CPA
Sam has over 50 years of accounting experience, including over 45 years running his own practice, after graduating from UCLA. During this time, he has continued to operate an independent practice, providing personalized service to his clients and working directly with his clients to meet their needs. He holds licenses as a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Financial Planner and Certified Valuation Analyst. Additionally, Sam is a licensed real estate broker.
Sam focuses on the personal care of his clients. Whether it is meeting them at their home, on weekends or evenings, Sam provides a personal touch missing from many CPA firms. As an entrepreneur of many companies in addition to running the CPA practice, Sam understands that a CPA firm is no different from a manufacturer. The expertise that he has developed over his professional career provides an understanding and philosophy not commonly found in most accountants.
Sam is an avid, although terrible, golfer and enjoys spending time on the links with his wife of over 45 years. If not working or golfing, Sam can usually be found involving himself in something that includes hockey or his four grandchildren. A season ticket holder to the Ducks since 1993, Sam enjoys watching professional hockey while playing something quite less then professional during his playing days.
Steve Luxenberg, EA
As an Enrolled Agent with Luxenberg and Associates, Steve brings a unique approach to the accounting world with not only his licensed tax knowledge and expertise, but his firm understanding of small business and the challenges that their owners face. As an owner of his own business for over 20 years, Steve has personally attended to the daily ins and outs of running a company, managing employees, and purchasing equipment. Coming from an entrepreneurial background and upbringing, Steve is committed to a hands on approach and the concept that no question is too small. With this in mind, Steve works with clients to solve financial and tax related problems with their businesses. Equipped with a knowledge and skill set in individual tax as well, Steve has the ability to assess and counsel clients on their unique situations from a tax perspective.
Steve lives in Rancho Mission Viejo with his wife and two children. If you don't find him in the office, chances are he is on an ice rink playing hockey or spending time with the family on a hike in the mountains or on a boat at the lake. He has a background rooted in photography and film making as well, so you may very well find him with a camera in hand during off hours.
